Sleep issues in children with TSC

Sleep issues are common in children living with TSC.

On this page you will find TSA’s zoom education event, in which Associate Professor Honey Heussler talks about the importance of sleep, sleep patterns and practical strategies you can try (both the video and presentation slides are available). This information is particularly helpful to parents and carers of younger children.

You may also like to refer to the Sleep Health Foundation, an Australian non-profit organisation and public advocate for sleep health.  The Sleep Health Foundation has a wealth of sleep-specific information for both children and adults including resources and factsheets on topics such as ADHD and sleep in childrenautism and sleep in children and epilepsy and sleep.

Please note: The opinions expressed are those of the presenter(s) and are not an official pronouncement of TSA.  Please consult your health professional before taking any action based on the information provided.
