We’re looking for a new Committee Member
We have a vacancy on our Management Committee.
The role involves contributing to the setting of organisational strategy, and regular monitoring in committee meetings of TSA’s progress against its strategy and operating plan.
We welcome expressions of interest from anyone who feels that they have the time to dedicate to the role. We also welcome anyone who has a lived experience connection to TSC.
We’re the only charity in Australia supporting people with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex and we’re dedicated to helping create a better life and more hopeful future for everyone in Australia affected by TSC.
About the role
As a committee member, you will fully participate in the governance, strategy setting and monitoring of TSA.
Responsibilities
- Reading papers and participating in committee meetings (the Committee usually meets 4 times a year on a Saturday for up to 3 hours via video conference)
- Contributing to the setting of organisational strategy and regular monitoring in committee meetings of TSA’s progress against its strategy and operating plan
Skills and experience
While we are interested in any skills and experience you have that you think may be relevant and beneficial, skills we are particularly interested in include:
- Previous experience with Committees/Boards
- Digital customer engagement
- Government
- Health sector
None of these are “must haves”, we are also interested in your passion and enthusiasm to be part of the team helping support people living with TSC.
