It’s Include a Charity Week

This week marks “Include a Charity Week” and creates an opportunity for people in our community to consider giving a gift to the future.  A charitable gift can be for any amount, large or small, or can be a percentage of your estate or whatever is left after all other family and commitments have been taken care of.

Choosing to make a charitable bequest is one of the most profound decisions you can make. For many of us, leaving a gift in our Will to a charity that is close to our heart is an opportunity to make a donation far greater than one we may be able to make during our lifetime.

Research by FIA (Fundraising Institute of Australia) shows at least a third of Australians are considering leaving a gift in their Will but have not yet included it. We would like to help bridge that gap and encourage and support people who want to leave a gift in their Will to TSA to do so.

It is estimated that more than 50% of people in Australia do not have a Will and so have no idea what would happen to their assets if they were to pass away.
