It was announced today that TSA is one of 11 patient organisations that will receive funding support for a part-time telehealth nurse under the Patient Pathways program developed by the Centre for Community-Driven Research (CCDR). This pilot project is intended to increase the capacity of patient organisations like TSA to support patients to navigate the health system and access all that is available to them, including clinical trials.
TSA is delighted to be working with CCDR to implement this program, which will add to its established TSC Information Service. Recruitment for a TSC nurse will be underway shortly.
Patient Pathways is being funded by the Australian Department of Health following an announcement by the Hon Greg Hunt MP, Minister for Health. For more information on the program, please visit: www.cc-dr.org/au/pathways
