What would you change about the way genetic health care is delivered in NSW?
Have you or your family experienced genetic testing, genetics services, or the search for a genetic diagnosis in New South Wales?
Researchers from the University of Sydney are inviting people with lived experience to help map the real-world genetic care journey across NSW.
Whether you’ve spent years searching for answers, waited for appointments or test results, navigated genetics services, or supported a loved one through the process, your experiences matter.
This project will:
• Better understand people’s experiences of genetic health care
• Identify what’s working well and where improvements are needed
• Help inform the design of future genetic care pathways across NSW
The research team is currently seeking adults in NSW who:
• Have personal experience as a carer navigating genetic services
• Are willing to participate in supportive online group discussions
What’s involved?
📍 Two online focus groups (60-90 minutes each)
💲 $40 per hour reimbursement
Because the people who use the system every day should help shape how it evolves.
