Introduction to Supported Decision Making – Free Online Sessions 

Our friends at Power to You are running free online workshops to introduce people supporting a person with an intellectual disability to the basics of supported decision-making. Supported decision-making empowers individuals to maintain control over their lives by offering assistance in decision-making, moving away from the traditional substituted decision-making approach.

The “Introduction to Supported Decision Making” Online Sessions will give you practical information to build your confidence as a decision supporter.

Olivia Rowswell, a member of our TSA community, will be co-facilitating these sessions and sharing her valuable lived experience as a person with TSC who has experienced both substituted and supported decision-making.

The first session is happening on Thursday, 21 March.
