One million people worldwide have tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC). In Australia, one child is born with TSC every week. There is no cure, but research is helping find new and better treatments. We won’t give up the fight until we have a cure.

Each year around the globe on May 15 individuals and families impacted by TSC come together to raise awareness for this devastating rare disease.

In 2022 TSA launched a Light the Way Giving Day to mark TSC Global Awareness Day. Hundreds of people across Australia shared their stories to shine a light on TSC.

Thank you to everyone who shared or supported TSA’s inaugural Light the Way Giving Day appeal on TSC Global Awareness Day, 2022. Over $59,000 was raised to keep our essential services and programs running and ensure TSA can continue to provide a beacon of light and hope for families facing the daily challenges of life with TSC.
