Light the Way Giving Day is on this Thursday 15 May – are you ready?
TSA Light the Way Giving Day is on this week – Thursday 15 May. This year we need your help to double the number of hours the TSA Telehealth Nurse is available for the TSC Community to access support, care and information. The TSA Telehealth Nurse is such an important service to the TSC Community. Since its pilot in 2019 demand has increased significantly.
We need your help to double the amount of hours available so everyone in our TSC Community can access the support they need, when they need it.
Light the Way Giving Day coincides with TSC Global Awareness day, the day TSC patients and their families around the world come together to raise awareness for TSC.
If you want to have an even bigger impact this year, we are asking our Community to organise a Light the Way Celebration.
Will you celebrate Light the Way Giving Day by lighting up your home, school, workplace or community? You can find out more information here.
Below are some tiles/images that you can save and use to post on social media to raise awareness of TSC and seek donations to TSA – the only charity in Australia informing, supporting and connecting people living with TSC.
You might want to say something like this in your post (remember to include the link to your Celebration page).
TSC (Tuberous Sclerosis Complex) is a devastating rare disease that often causes severe epilepsy and neuropsychiatric issues including autism. I am a supporter of TSA which is the only charity in Australia helping to inform, connect and support people living with TSC. 15 May is TSC Global Awareness Day and a chance to help Light the Way for everyone living with TSC.
