How and why TSC may affect a woman's menstrual cycle

In this Zoom education event, Dr Kaushi Arulpragasam, a gynaecology fellow with South Eastern Sydney Local Health District, will be discussing managing the menstrual cycle in patients with TSC (Tuberous Sclerosis Complex), particularly when TSC is associated with intellectual disability.

Dr Kaushi will provide valuable insights on:

  • common contraceptive options available for women living with TSC
  • behavioural changes that can occur during the menstrual cycle and how to manage them.

She will also touch on other topics related to women's gynaecological health, including fertility, pregnancy planning, and general women's health issues relevant to the TSC Community.

Dr Kaushi's expertise and experience in gynaecology will offer valuable information and guidance to patients with TSC, their families, and clinicians who care for them.
