Is there a health care professional who has gone 'over and above' for you and your family? If so, nominate them for this year's Elizabeth Pinkerton Memorial Award. This award is given annually by TSA to a health care professional to recognise their efforts to improve the lives of people living with TSC in Australia. Nominations come from you, the TSC Community.

A TSA membership is for anyone with an interest in improving the lives of people affected by TSC. By becoming a member of TSA, you will ensure everyone in Australia has free access to information and support about TSC, no matter where they live or their personal circumstances. Thank you to all our renewing members.

Penny was diagnosed with TSC at 13 years of age at a time when 'Dr Google' was still light years away, and information about TSC was limited.

Penny, who now has two grown up daughters, has kindly shared her inspiring story with us.   

Just a reminder that Funding for MRI of the abdomen under the Medical Benefits Schedule (MBS) for people with a confirmed diagnosis of TSC has commenced this month. This will make abdominal MRIs free to access through bulk billing services.  

Congratulations to Paris Gordon and her team (pictured) who ran in the HBF Run for a Reason in Perth on Sunday 19 May and raised an amazing $2,670 for TSA.

All donations made to TSA go directly towards improving the lives of people living with TSC.
