Have your say on epilepsy care

The government has launched a Senate Inquiry looking at epilepsy care in Australia. TSA will be making a submission. We urge you, as members of our Community who live with the impacts of epilepsy daily, to make individual submissions if you can. Help create change by having your say.

Genetic testing and TSC

Genetic testing can help you find out if other family members have TSC and is also important when planning a family. In this online Zoom Information Event, Dr Fiona McKenzie, Clinical Geneticist will tell us more about when it is advisable to get genetic testing and what is involved.

Epilepsy and epilepsy surgery

Most people living with TSC experience epilepsy at some point in their lives, and for some people seizures can be difficult to control with medication alone. Understanding the range of treatment options, including when epilepsy surgery may be considered, is an important part of managing TSC. Dr Emma MacDonald-Laurs will tell us more.

Bella

Six years ago, we first spoke with Bella about her experience living with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) and her journey with sirolimus treatment. Bella is now 36 years old and continues to be a participant in both bodybuilding and powerlifting. Hear more about this amazing young woman.
