You are invited to TSA’s TAND+ Conference on Saturday 20 November 2021

This in person, full day event in Perth will be held at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel, 707 Wellington Street. It includes participation in a virtual event on TAND as well as a number of WA-based in person presentations and discussions.

The event will run from 9.00am – 5.30pm WA time and the event fee is just AU$50 per person (refreshments, lunch and end of day drinks are included).  Click here to see the full program.

TAND stands for TSC-Associated Neuropsychiatric Disorders. It includes behaviour, intellectual disability, autism, learning difficulties and mental ill health. TAND impacts a significant proportion of people living with TSC and we know that these impacts on behavior, learning and mental health are often the most difficult symptoms of TSC to cope with. It is important that families, carers and health professionals are aware of these challenges and implement appropriate strategies to deal with them.

Professor Petrus de Vries
Professor Anna Jansen

The virtual event will provide an opportunity to find out more about TAND and hear from and ask questions of international expert TSC health professionals:

Professor Petrus de Vries, Sue Struengmann Professor of Child & Adolescent Psychology, University of Cape Town

Professor Anna Jansen, Head of Paediatric Neurology, University Hospital Antwerp, Belgium
