Rare Disease Day is an international day that raises awareness of rare diseases and the importance of equity, diagnosis, treatments and inclusion.
On Rare Disease Day 2023, UTS in Sydney is holding a morning tea to ‘Meet the Researchers’ who are doing valuable work on the research of rare diseases.
Their world-leading work is something we need to recognise and celebrate. This event will bring together researchers with those living with a rare disease, as well as their family and friends, students and staff, to showcase their research and thank them for their efforts.
Lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM) is one of the rare diseases that will be showcased.
There is no need to register for this event so please feel free to share these details with any family or friends you’d like to invite. Details for when and where to attend are below.
