Our advocacy work continues with a submission on PGD

PGD stands for pre-implantation genetic diagnosis. It is a technology that can be used by people with Tuberous Sclerosis (TSC) who wish to have a child free of TSC. It is used in combination with IVF.

Genea (previously Sydney IVF) have made a submission to have PGD listed on the medicare benefits schedule.

In March, Clare Stuart prepared a submission to the Medicare Services Advisory Committee (MSAC). There is no outcome yet.
