Lizzie’s Lunch raises over $26,000

Category: Fundraising | 0

The 9th annual Lizzie’s Lunch raised just over $26,000 to help individuals and families facing the challenges of life with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC).

This takes the total raised at Lizzie’s Lunches to more than $135,000 since its inception in 2014.

There are so many people to thank!

Firstly, Sue Pinkerton (Lizzie’s mum) who each year does an extraordinary job securing all the prizes for the auction and raffle and packing the function room full of generous friends and family.

Thanks also to the fantastic emcee Ron Wilson our volunteers Tom, Ann and Vanessa, everyone who donated prizes, and of course all the guests who so generously bid on auction items, purchased raffle tickets, joined the mystery wine wall fun and made such generous donations.

Special thanks to our guest speakers, the Cooper family for joining us and to Charlie and his dad Dominic for sharing their journey with TSC. It’s always such a privilege to hear first hand how TSA’s work directly benefits families like the Coopers. And to hear it directly from Charlie who has TSC himself was a real honour.

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped raise vital funds for people affected by TSC while honouring the memory of Lizzie Pinkerton.

We hope to see you at Lizzie’s Lunch next year! Save the date – Sunday 25th June 2023 at Hills Lodge, Castle Hill.
