One million people worldwide have tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC). There is no cure, but research is helping find new and better treatments.  We won’t give up the fight until we have a cure.

This year join the worldwide fight on Global Awareness Day, Saturday May 15.

Getting involved is easy! On TSC Global Awareness Day, May 15, we encourage our TSC Community in Australia to use social media to raise awareness of this rare disease and help to raise critically needed funds to support people facing the daily challenges of life with TSC. Can you help?

3 simple ways you can get involved:

1. Facebook fundraising and awareness-raising

Step 1: Create a post on Facebook or Instagram. Share a photo along with a little about how TSC has impacted you and your family. You could also include how your supporters can make difference.

Step 2: On Facebook simply add a ‘Donate’ button to your post and select Tuberous Sclerosis Australia as the charity to benefit.

Step 3: Share your post on Saturday May 15.

Check out an example over here

Last year Mimi and Rob Rossano inspired their family and friends to give over $5,000 in support of TSC Global Awareness Day in honour of Roxie.

You can do this too and help everyone living with TSC in Australia feel informed, empowered and connected.

2. Purchase a #Tatts4TSC tattoo

You can purchase a #Tatts4TSC temporary tattoo with all funds going directly to support TSA’s work. Click here to purchase your tattoos today.

Then just share photos of why you got a #Tatts4TSC on May 15.

Don’t forget to add a donate button to your Facebook selecting Tuberous Sclerosis Australia as beneficiary.

Individual tattoos are priced at two for $10 or buy five for $20 (including postage within Australia).

Why the wave?

People living with TSC describe their journey to riding waves. There are highs and lows and unpredictable tides that threaten to tow you under. Although we often can’t control the TSC waves, we can learn to surf!

3. Make a donation

You may choose to make a donation to support our work in celebration of TSC Global Awareness Day.
