On 15 May each year TSC Global Awareness Day provides an opportunity for individuals and families impacted by TSC (Tuberous Sclerosis Complex) to come together to raise awareness for this devastating rare disease. One million people worldwide have TSC. In Australia, one child is born with TSC every week. There is no cure, but research is helping find new and better treatments.

TSA’s goal is to shine a light on TSC and help Light the Way for everyone impacted by TSC. We do this by;

• Encouraging buildings and landmarks around the country to light up with blue lights on May 15. To check out the buildings that turned blue in 2023 click here
• Supporting individuals and families living with TSC to share their stories to shine a light on TSC
• Inspiring donations to ensure TSA can continue to run our life-changing programs and services such as our free telehealth nurse service

How to get involved in TSA’s Light the Way Giving day 2024

• Become an ambassador and help shine a light on TSC by sharing your story
• Sign up to be a fundraising champion in honour of your loved one with TSC
• Make a donation or inspire you workplace to make a sizable donation as a match giving partner so we can run a ‘double your donation’ campaign
• Volunteer to approach landmarks and buildings to go blue for TSA on 15 May
