Today is Dying to Know Day

Category: TSA News | 0

Dying to Know Day is a campaign that encourages people to start conversations about death. It might be a bit uncomfortable at first, but discussing your own and your loved one’s choices around end of life is the best way to be prepared and empowered.

Dying to Know Day is an initiative of The GroundSwell Project. Their message is, “We used to talk about death. To prepare and plan for a future without us. It provided comfort and security for everyone involved and drew us close together when we needed it most. The conversation was an act of love, bearing witness to a life well-lived, and simply having it, could open doors to the soul. So we’re bringing that back and you can too”.

We encourage you and your loved ones to start a conversation. To help you get started click here.

Did you know that more than 50% of people living in Australia don’t have a Will and so have no idea what would happen to their assets if they were to pass away?

‘Dying to Know Day’ is also a chance to think about your legacy. Have you considered leaving a legacy gift to TSA in your Will? Perhaps that topic could form part of your conversation on Dying to Know Day.

Please complete the below form to let us know if you plan to leave a bequest to TSA or if you’d like more information (you can also learn more about TSA’s bequest program by clicking here).

If you already have, or if you’re considering leaving a gift in your Will to TSA, we would love to talk to you, discuss some of the options available and to have the opportunity to thank you during your lifetime.

Leaving a gift in your Will to TSA is an act of kindness that will make a long-lasting and positive impact to countless families impacted by TSC well into the future. By choosing to leave a bequest gift to TSA you can help us continue to improve the lives of people living with TSC. No matter how large or small, a bequest is a powerful way to make a positive difference to the health and wellbeing of children impacted by TSC far beyond your lifetime.

Please let us know about your legacy plans
